Another illustration done for the on- going project, Iblard.

1)Leading the way
2)Working together
3)Specialist
4)Innovation/ Originality
5)Flexibility

7)Integrated solutions
8)International relationship
9)Sustainable relationship
10)Expansion
11)Geography
12)2012 Olympics
13)Industry sector specialisation
This time I have chosen the theme “Leading the way” as my first image.
The protagonist in the image represents the customer while the complex structure represents the bank.
The structure symbolises the bank as a sophisticated organisation, aiming to aid their clients, with different backgrounds for their needs. Different architecture symbolising different international expertise. Different parts of engines and paddles from vehicles representing the back driving their clients to a positive future. Red is used as the main colour, as red symbolises good fortune in China, where I am from, giving it a stronger sense of cultural identity.
This illustration came SECOND in the NATIONAL FINAL of the competition.
The Second image is based on the theme “Working together”.
I have based my image on the famous painting, Babel Tower. Working together to reach heaven represents the theme perfectly, and therefore I have created my own version of it.
A project set by “Puffinpost”, a children magazine, to produce a cover image for its latest issue.
I was asked to produce my own version of a puffin, which can attracts kids aged between 8~ 14 yrs old. I realised children in this age group are very imaginative and they love visual stimulation, from that I have created the following illustrations.
First one was chosen as the cover image of the March 2009 issue.
Part of the on- going project, “Kärlek”.
Illustrations done under the theme “Kärlek”, which means “love” in swedish. I won’t give up any explaination for the following illustrations, as these illustrations aim to trigger the audience’s own experience. Everyone will find their own unique answer to my illustrations.
Part of the on- going project, “Kärlek”.
A short story of a girl being consumed by the demon fox. Girls and fox were used as a metaphor to describe if one is not able to control the “negatives” and eventually it will be consumed by it. The meaning of “negatives” are left opened for the audience to decide in their own perspective.
Part of the on- going project, “Kärlek”.
A rather experiemental approach to illustrate the feeling of love.
All photographs were taken in low shutter speed, capturing the dreamy state while in love, everything is blurry and uncertain. Being Clouded by sudden emotions and feelings. Everything then become so unreal.
Photographs were then put into a book accompanied with text, hand written by myself, about my personal experience of love. This piece is an in depth study of my own emotions and rediscover my true identity as a human.
“Kan Du Se Mig” is “Can you see me” in swedish.
The following are a few samples of the photographs.
